Discover excellence in 3D printing with ABC3D’s high-performance nylon filament low-warp formula. Meticulously crafted in Victoria, BC, this unfilled Nylon 66 (PA66) material is engineered to solve the biggest challenge of printing with nylon. As a result, you get industrial-grade performance with unparalleled printability.

Performance of our Nylon Filament Low-Warp

Our nylon filament with low-warp properties boasts exceptional mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance. In fact, Nylon 66 is a trusted engineering polymer known for its low coefficient of friction and stability, making it the ideal choice for creating impact-resistant parts like custom gears and bearings.

Engineered for Easy Printing

We’ve fine-tuned this material for a hassle-free printing experience. Indeed, you can achieve extraordinary results on a stock Ender 3 with simple settings: a 260°C nozzle, a 110°C bed, the fan turned off, and a touch of Elmer’s glue for adhesion. Ultimately, this means less time troubleshooting and more time creating.

In summary, if you’re looking for a material that combines industrial strength with straightforward printing, our nylon filament low-warp formula is the perfect choice. It’s an ideal upgrade for any project that demands superior durability and reliability.

Nylon Filament Low-Warp: FAQs

1. Is this filament abrasive?

No. This is an “unfilled” nylon, meaning it does not contain any abrasive additives like carbon fiber or glass. Therefore, it is safe to print with a standard brass nozzle.

2. Do I need an enclosure to print this?

It is highly recommended. While this is a nylon filament low-warp formula, it is still PA66. As a result, an enclosure or heated chamber will always provide the best layer adhesion and prevent warping on larger parts. However, it is significantly easier to print than standard PA66.

3. How is this different from your Carbon Fiber Nylon 66 filament?

This filament is for **toughness and flexibility**. It’s designed to be impact-resistant and is a great all-around engineering-grade nylon. Our **Carbon Fiber Nylon 66**, on the other hand, is for **stiffness and rigidity**. The carbon fibers make it much stiffer (less flexible) and stronger, but also more brittle.

4. Do I absolutely need to dry this filament?

Yes, 100%. Nylon 66 is one of the most hygroscopic materials. It will absorb moisture from the air in just a few hours. Therefore, you must dry it at 90°C for at least 4 hours immediately before printing. Printing damp nylon will result in bubbles, stringing, and extremely brittle parts.
