Refund and Returns Policy

At ABC3D, we stand behind the quality of our Canadian-made filaments and polymer compounds. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Return Window

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility & Condition for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Filaments & Pellets: Must be in their original, unopened vacuum-sealed packaging. We cannot accept returns on opened filament spools or pellet bags due to moisture absorption properties.
  • Custom Orders: Custom masterbatches or made-to-order compounds are non-returnable unless there is a verified manufacturing defect.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
⚠️ Conductivity Disputes & Defective Claims:
If you are returning a product claiming it is “non-conductive” or defective, you must submit video evidence of your testing procedure (showing multimeter readings on the printed part) to support@abc3d.ca prior to return authorization. This ensures the issue is material-related and not due to print settings or probe contact resistance.

3. Restocking Fees

  • Standard Returns: A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns (e.g., ordered the wrong color or material type).
  • Defective Products: No restocking fee will be charged if the product is confirmed to be defective (video validation required).

4. Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Defective/Wrong Items: If you received an incorrect or defective item, ABC3D will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

5. Refund Process

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
