ABC3D’s Performance PLA filament is a widely used 3D printing material, derived from renewable natural resources and biodegradable under certain conditions. This engineering-grade PLA, manufactured from pure NatureWorks 3D850 resin, is FDA-approved for food and beverage use. It boasts higher bulk crystallization, making it suitable for high-heat (<85°C) and high-strength applications. Performance PLA offers excellent heat resistance and impact strength, making it ideal for functional projects. The filament can be heat-treated (annealed) for improved physical properties. ABC3D ensures precision extrusion and vacuum-seals each spool with desiccant for moisture protection. Proudly compounded and manufactured in Canada, it is compatible with most desktop 3D printers.
